Anna (She/her)

I am a current student at Roosevelt University, studying Musical Theater with a Dance Concentration and pursuing a minor in Educational Studies. I am originally from Buffalo, NY and I moved to Chicago for school in 2024. During a particularly difficult, stressful, and time consuming semester in November of 2025, I found Half Moon. I signed up for the New Student Intro Month and I fell in love! I had never practiced yoga consistently before then, but I had such a fantastic experience at Half Moon. I loved how warm and welcoming the space was, how many different class models there were, and the incredible community of students, teachers and team members at Half Moon! Half Moon became my safe space and an escape from the chaos of the world! 

I have had the amazing opportunity to become part of the Half Moon team, and I work on our team of Studio Experience Managers. I am so excited to be one of the smiling faces that welcomes students into the studio and ensures that everyone feels at home at Half Moon! I just love the culture of kindness and warmth that is created at Half Moon, and I am so grateful to be a part of this fantastic community!
